New Tea Set

Got out my new teaset this morning for my tea, don't know why I haven't used it sooner.  I bought it a couple months ago.

Roses always catches my eyes, especially when they're red or pink. Just tea and banana not cake this morning.

Love the softness of the colors and how they go together.

Enjoy your day and May it be Blessed in many ways!

My Church Yard Sale Find

Today I went to the yard sale at the church I attend, they are  raising money for the mission trip the Associate Pastor and other members go on every year.  I really got carried away!  I will only show one item today and will post more later.  It would take awhile to post all items.

I love the roses and the handles on the sides.  My mind just starts turning with ideas on how to use it.

Here is a close up of it.  I love that it says 1849-1894.

Outdoor Snack

Just tea and oatmeat raisin cookies for snack......but oh so good!

It's always nice to take a few minutes for quiet time and just sit and meditate on all that God has blessed you with, waking up in the morning, family and friends, and nature,  along with so much more. I had to take my quiet time outside with mother (nature).

A Blessed Day

The sky is still cloudy from a weekend of rain that we got from the storm on the Georgia coast, so it's a cool day.  I have my grandson, Joshua, with me today and tomorrow.  My husband has COPD so it's hard at times for him to cut the 2 acres of grass we have. I do help at times but Joshua loves riding the lawn mover.  I am so blessed to have grandchildren that don't mind helping out.

I think he is having too much fun... He'll be 13 in a couple months. Sometimes when he's here he just rides it for fun without the blades down.

Here he is in the front yard cutting as I noticed my Bee Balm is just opening up.  I love it when it blooms, the humming birds do to, only they pick it to pieces from getting the necter out of it.  See how tall the one on the right is, but it hasn't opened up yet.

Here is one of my Knock out roses re-blooming, I love that they bloom all summer.

Iris Glasware

I just love my Iris glassware. It was made by Jeannette Glass Company which started in the 1920's.  I only have two pieces and would love to collect more.

Here it is at a closer view.

This piece doesn't have the Iris on it but I love it anyway and have found many uses for it.

All three pieces
