Good Morning, it's time once again for

Friday Foto Friends

We visited Dickey Farms this week

with two of our daughters and some of our

grandchildren.

They have the best peach ice cream ever!

It's a fun and relaxing place.

I could sit and rock for hours.

There's hubby waving at me.

They have no shortage of peaches.

Across the street is an old store. 

They are still in business. 

The owner opens at 3:00, he runs

a mail route in the mornings.

Got some photo's of my Hosta in bloom

and my Rose of Sharon.

My daughter has  a magnolia tree,

I know it's at least 50 feet high.

The honey bees were having breakfast

when I took this Foto.

Terrific Tuesday!

It is the privilege of every Christian 

to be a giver.

When the Holy Spirit of Christ flows

through us, He teaches us to love and

withhold nothing that will bless others. 

Our purpose in life is to be a blessing

to others.

God gives to us freely, and we should 

do the same.

"And whatsoever you do in word or deed,

do all in the name of the Lord Jesus,

giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

Colossians 3:17

"O God, give me a heart to bless others"

My Week of Blessings

Another week has gone by and it has been 

raining everyday.

Didn't get out much since I don't like driving

in it.

Sunday after having Father's Day lunch out with family,
we went back to my daughter's for desert.

My granddaughter has a cat that loves to play with a sucker.
Now most cats play with a toy, but not "Tiny"

She loves to play with a tiny sucker.

She will kick it around and carry it in her mouth,

never trying to eat it. She thinks it's a toy!

You can throw it down the hall and she will fetch it.

Monday my hubby had a doctor's appointment,
so it being in the town where my sister lives we got to spend some time together afterward.

It's always a blessing to spend time with family.

Tuesday I did venture out to visit with my friend

Jane. She prepared a tea for us.

Friends are a blessing, also.
When I count my blessings, I always count my friend, Jane.

Wednesday and Thursday, there were thunder storms,
so I still inside all day.

Today I hope the rain will be gone and we can get out some.
The rain is a blessings also, we do need it.

A Friend and Friendship Tea

Tuesday my friend Jane, invited me to tea at her home.
We have been friends for 25 years,
and shared many fun, sad and happy times.

Even though it was raining and I don't like driving in the rain,

I drove the 40 minute drive to her home.

It's always a treat to visit her. She is a great and fun hostess.

We had our Lunch on her back screened in porch.

Chicken salad

A slice of fresh tomato,

and fruit.

Cucumber sandwich.

Lemonade

I tried to get a photo of the rain, but it just wouldn't show.

I had a cucumber sandwich for the first time,
and to my delight, it was good.

The cucumber came from her friends garden.

Banana nut cake! 

Tiny Lemon cakes

Of course, we had Tea!

After several hours of laughing together and good food,
and Tea, it was time for me to go.

" Ointment and perfume

rejoice the heart,

so doth the sweetness of a 

man's friend gives delight..."
