Monday Blessings and First Birthday

As some of you know I am a Great
Grandma! Friday the 19th was my
Great Grandson's first birthday!
Jase Cannon Wilson

His mother and daddy through him
a big party at my daughter's house.

There were about 25 people there.

Everyone had a great time.

Jase loved it!
He had a wonderful time, got all the
attention!

Loved all his toys and
Especially his cake!

Yes, we'll do better!

Yes, Jase loved his cake.
We'll train him that there
is a better way to eat cake.
I promise!

I do pray for all my family that they will
grow in God's Grace and favor.

Have a Blessed week!

Sunday Blessings

"For with you is the fountain of life:
in your light we see light."
Psalm 36:9

Thank You, O Lord for this day,
may we let your light shine in
us, as we live to serve you.
AMEN

Have a Blessed Sunday,

God's Story of Love, Throw back Thursday

Update, my hubby continues to improve but still needs care,
I would love for him to be 100% again!

Throw back Thursday!
from April, 2018

A few weeks ago I received a summons for Jury Duty. My first thoughts were, "oh my, how am I
going to be able to do this, I need to be with my
husband who's unable to do much for himself, even though he wants too, he  doesn't need to be left alone for a long period of time."
He no longer drives and needs to be driven to doctors appointments and Physical Therapy.
I began to pray as I filled out the paper to be mailed back. I checked the box that said I was a caregiver and needed to be excused.

""
"Give thanks to the Lord, call on his name,
proclaim his deeds among the people"
Psalm 105:1

I told my 3 daughters, and they began to pray also that the Lord would work this out in my favor.
Monday when I went to fulfil my duty, I found myself sitting between two ladies. We began to talk with each other as we waited for the judge. I found myself encouraging them and they me. I am amazed how God works to bring peace and comfort in times of stress. Two ladies I had never met and may never meet again was placed there for support. I have always felt like my Spiritual Gift was to be an encourager, although God tells us all to 'encourage one another'.

" Therefore encourage one another"
1 Thessolonians 5:11

I was dismissed from jury duty and came away feeling blessed to have been given the opportunity to encourage these two ladies. I have learned that we will be blessed with joy and peace when we bless others. God hears and answers our prayers!

"Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his wondrous works."
Psalm 105:2

I love to tell the story of how God blesses me.

Have a Blessed Day!

Good Afternoon Update on Hubby

I wake up each morning,
thankful for the blessing
I am given, to wake up.

My hubby is doing better,
getting a little stronger
each day. So much to
thank God for.
He is having Home Health
Care coming about every
day. It's good to have someone
come and check on him and
see that he exercises. He doesn't
like to but is trying.

Have a Blessed Day!

MY HUBBY IS HOME

I am thankful today that my hubby is
home after 6 days and nights in the hospital
and 20 days in Rehabilitation. He's doing
good and will start Home Health Care
next week. He's weak and feeble but,
  God is good and faithful!

Thank you all that remembered him in your
prayers and thoughts. I am so grateful
for them all.

Life hands us roses with it's thorns but with
the grace of God, we can rise above it
all and keep going.

Have a Blessed Day!

Taking One Day at a Time

I am learning to take one day at a time!

It has been a while since I posted. I want to
thank Diana at nanadianatakesabreak for doing a post about my hubby, Curtis, and for all the prayers and thoughts sent for him. Click on her name to read post.
He was in the hospital for 6 days with pneumonia in bothlungs and discovered he has A-Fib, which was determined to be the cause of his mini strokes.
He already has COPD, which made it even worse
on his blood pressure and oxygen levels. He is now in Rehab for therapy to regain his strength and balance. He's doing much better after 20 days there, hoping to come home next week.
I have spent most of the days and some nights with him. I am ready for him to be home and back to somewhat normal life, although I'm told things will be different.

"I love the Lord, for he heard my voice, he heard my cry for mercy."
Psalm 116:1

God is a merciful and loving father, I am so thankful for his grace and answers us when
we call out to him in our troubles.
I don't know when I'll be able to post again, just
know I am thankful for all my blogging friends,
for their love and support!

Have a Blessed Weekend!
